Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers approved the parameters and funding sources of the Program for the integrated socio-economic development of Zaamin district of Jizzakh region in 2020-2022.

In total, the program includes 291 projects for 3.53 trillion soums, of which financing in the amount of: 560 billion soums from the republican budget and 52.5 billion soums from the local budget; 216.7 billion soums - bank loans; US$89.55 million - foreign loans and 283.4 billion soums - funds from IFIs; US$25.2 million - foreign investment.

According to the resolution, it is planned to create a tourist and recreational zone "Zomin" with the construction of the necessary hotel and entertainment complex, as well as engineering infrastructure.

Uzbekneftegaz provides free iron pipes in the amount sufficient for irrigation of 850 hectares of land in the region.
