Small Oil Refinery Launched in Ferghana Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A project to establish a small oil refinery has been completed in the Tashlak district of Ferghana region, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan reports.

The refinery has an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons. The project created 350 new jobs, with total investments amounting to 25 million US dollars.

The initiative was implemented by the company PRIMERS TRADING FZC.

The new plant will expand the region’s production capabilities and strengthen the industrial potential of Ferghana region.
