The report said Tashkent Advertisement Association announced tender to carry out media research in Uzbekistan. The tender documentation said the programme covers 2007-2012 to studt TV audience and expand it to radio, print and external advertisement.
The Association selected SIAR to carry out this research and so-called "people-meters" will be used to study TV market.
The report said international companies like Coca-Cola, LG, Mars, Unilеver, Nestle, Sopharma, Beeline and others expressed interest to subscribe to regular researches of TV market. It added that local TV stations are also interested in objective assessment of rating of TV programmes.
