Shomurodov and Faizullaev Lead Istanbul Başakşehir to Convincing Victory in Turkish Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team players Eldor Shomurodov and Abbosbek Faizullaev played key roles in Istanbul Başakşehir’s 4:1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Cup.

The scoring opened early, with Faizullaev netting the first goal in the 8th minute. Shomurodov doubled the lead for Başakşehir in the 22nd minute, consolidating a strong start for the Istanbul club.

In the second half, the hosts continued to dominate. Miguel Crespo scored the third goal in the 50th minute, and Ivan Brnić extended the advantage in the 65th minute. Fatih Karagümrük’s sole goal came in the 79th minute from Abdul Kader Moussa Koné.
