Сhiliuz to develop production of hot pepper
On 27 January 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures to increase production of hot pepper (chili) in Uzbekistan based on foreign experience”.
Chiliuz was founded to produce, process and exports of hot pepper in Uzbekistan based on foreign experience.
Over 15,000 hectares of low-yielding land were allocated to production of hot pepper instead of cotton in Karakalpakstan in 2018. Overall, hot peppers of “Cayenne” an “Margilan 33” varieties were planted in over 18,000 hectares of land.
The regional branches of the company started to work in 9 regions of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan.
It should be noted that orders for naturally dried and crushed hot pepper was formed. Export agreements with almost all regions of Russia and dozens of foreign countries, such as South Korea, India, Poland, Georgia and Moldova were concluded.
