Share of small businesses in Uzbekistan’s GDP reach 54.6%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Share of small businesses in GDP of Uzbekistan made up 54.6% in nine months of 2016 against 53.6% in January-September 2015.

According to the Ministry of economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, over 23,600 new small businesses were registered in the country in January-September 2016.

Share of small businesses in GDP reached 54.6% (53.6% in nine months of 2015), industry – 43.8% (38.7%), investments – 38.3% (33.5%), retail trade turnover – 89.9% and employment – 77.8% (77.5%).
