Several people died in road accident in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 July 2020 at about 06:30, the driver of a DAF TE 95XF truck, 38-year-old J.J., driving in the direction of Bukhara-Tashkent, collided with Lacetti car, which was under the control of 31-year-old F.Kh.

According to the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the collision, the driver of the Lacetti car F.Kh. and his passenger, 24-year-old E.R. died at the scene of the event.

On this fact, the Investigation Department under the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Samarkand region initiated a criminal case under paragraph "a", part 3 of article 266 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles, resulting in human casualties) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A preliminary investigation is currently underway.
