Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In Khorezm region, 7 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection.

With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were transferred for rehabilitation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

All the survivors were brought to Khorezm on a charter flight from Russia and quarantined. After coronavirus infection was confirmed, they were hospitalized. Among them, 2 people each are from Kashkadarya and Namangan regions, and 1 each - Ferghana, Bukhara and Jizzakh regions. All of them are men, the oldest of them is 49 years old, and the youngest is 26 years old.

In Khorezm region, 138 people were cured before that, and now there are 145 of them.

Thus, today until that time 37 people recovered and went for rehabilitation. Currently, 1,308 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
