Senate Committee and Cultural Heritage Institute Sign Partnership Memo
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Youth, Women, Culture, and Sports and the "Cultural Heritage" Research Institute.
The document is aimed at further improving legislation in the field of preservation, scientific study, and the rational utilization of the country's cultural heritage.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties plan to develop interaction regarding the preparation of scientific and analytical materials, the formation of expert opinions, and the provision of parliamentary control on a scientific basis. Furthermore, the partnership will focus on developing effective solutions for current challenges in the sector.
It was noted during the signing that the implementation of the memorandum's provisions will contribute to strengthening the national system for cultural heritage preservation, ensuring its protection through scientific rigor, and facilitating the transmission of historical and cultural values to future generations.
