SCO working group on customs cooperation holds meeting in Tashkent

Representatives of customs services of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated at the work of the session.

Head of main department on organization of customs control of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Zayniddinov welcomed the guests and stated that Uzbekistan pays great attention to work of the special group on customs cooperation of the SCO.

Head of the special group and the first deputy head of Department on customs cooperation of Russian Federal Customs Service Natalya Vorontsova expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for warm welcome and said Tashkent session will serve for strengthening of cooperation among the SCO member states.

At the meeting, the sides considered issues on cooperation among customs bodies of the SCO member states, protection of intellectual property, training specialists, etc.

They also discussed cooperation within the system on risk management of World Customs Union.
