Science Academies of Uzbekistan and Latvia sign memorandum

The document was signed within the visit of the President of Latvian Science Academy Ojārs Spārītis to Uzbekistan. He visited Uzbekistan as an observer at the presidential elections.

Ojārs Spārītis said that during the visit, he also held talks with Uzbek scientists.

He noted that Science Academies of Uzbekistan and Latvia signed a memorandum of cooperation. Institute of organic chemistry of Latvia expressed interest in cooperation. Center for genome of Uzbekistan reached high successes, which were recognized by US researchers.
