Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 27 March, the third batch of SAZ LE60 low-floor buses were handed over in the city of Turkestan (Kazakhstan). Previous parties are already running along the routes of the city.
In March 2021, the Samarkand Automobile Plant shipped 30 SAZ LE60 to Kazakhstan in an updated modification. The first 20 buses produced by special price, went to the line in the city of Turkestan on 20 March. Among the passengers was akim Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev.
"We are glad that when updating the Turkestan Bus Park, the choice fell on the SAZ LE60, designed and produced in Uzbekistan. Our partners noted the comfort of the updated model, its convenience for small citizens, durability, as well as the ratio of price and quality. At the beginning of the year, this modification received a certificate of the Customs Union of the EAEU.
This is not the first delivery to Kazakhstan. SAMAUTO products are used in urban passenger traffic Almaty, Turkestan and Atyrau. For all the years of international cooperation, the exports of buses of different models in Kazakhstan amounted to about 900 units, 300 of them fall on SAZ LE60, said the Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales SP LLC Samavto Ilhom Yarashev.
SAZ LE60 accommodates 56 passengers (25 seats). The buses who came to the line in Turkestan are equipped with ramps, electronic travel, air conditioning, video surveillance cameras and passenger audio information systems.
