Saidov Discusses Middle East Situation with UAE Foreign Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1 March, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a productive phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ministers engaged in a detailed discussion on developments in the Middle East. Minister Saidov expressed solidarity with the UAE and conveyed, on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sincere condolences.

During the conversation, both sides emphasized the importance of resolving all emerging issues through peaceful means, while fully respecting state sovereignty and territorial integrity, in complete accordance with international law.
