Rustam Juraev appointed as head of Tashkent GUVD

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new chief of the Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD) of Tashkent has been appointed.

Rustam Juraev was appointed head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent.

Prior to this appointment, he worked as the Minister for Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

In this post he replaced Bakhodir Kurbanov, who was appointed as the commander of the troops of the Tashkent military district.
