Russia stops transit of 650 tonnes of potatoes from Latvia to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Rosselhoznadzor from Russia did not allow to transit of 650 tonnes of French and Dutch seed potatoes from Latvia to Uzbekistan, the Department of the Russian body for Tver and Pskov regions.
On 14 May, the 13 parties of cargo with 650 tonnes of potatoes arrived in Sebej railway station of Russia, which was sent from Latvia to Uzbekistan.
The Russian body said that re-export phytosanitary certificates of the cargo were not registered properly.
