Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A 59-year-old resident of Tashkent region (male) was confirmed that he contracted coronavirus (COVID-19) and was admitted to City Clinical Hospital No. 1 on July 9.
In a medical facility, he was diagnosed with a severe form of COVID-19 and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was accompanied by such complications as acute respiratory failure, acute cardiovascular failure, diabetic nephropathy, chronic renal failure, and intoxication of the central nervous system.
The patient had comorbidities such as ischemic heart disease, angina pectoris, postoperative coronary stenting (2008, 2012), and hypertension.
The patient underwent online consultations and specialist consultations, the treatment process was carried out in accordance with the established standards.
The condition worsened due to the severity and complications of the underlying disease, and the patient died of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure, despite intensive standard resuscitation measures performed by specialists.
