Representatives of Uzbekneftegaz take part in the 20th Energy Forward Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekneftegaz headed the acting chairman of the Board Bakhrom Ashrafkhanova visited Florence (Italy) on a working visit and took part in the 20th anniversary Energy Forward Forum.

The event, organized by Baker Hughes General Electric (BHGE), is considered one of the most important industry events in the global energy space. This year, Energy Forward brought together a record number of delegates from 1,200 companies. The focus of the participants was the latest achievements, innovations and technologies in the oil and gas and energy sectors.

At the forum, a speech was made by chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov. In his report, he noted the favorable investment climate created in Uzbekistan and wide opportunities for foreign partners. A presentation of the oil and gas potential of our country, information on ongoing major projects and international cooperation was presented.

In the framework of Energy Forward, the delegation from Uzbekneftegaz also held a number of meetings and negotiations with the heads of the BHGE companies,

Total E&P, Tecnicas Reunidas, British Petroleum, IHS Markit, and other leading foreign oil and gas companies. The agenda included issues of expanding cooperation in the framework of the program of technical re-equipment, modernization and development of the gas transmission system of Uzbekistan, geological exploration and production of hydrocarbons, the participation of foreign companies in promising investment projects for the deep processing of natural gas.
