Registration of businesses to be conduct 24-hours in online regime

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On improving system of state registration of the business entities” on 28 October 2016.

The document approved a complex measures on cardinal improving order of the state registration of business entities.

According to the resolution, from 1 April 2017 state registration of the business entities will be conducted 24-hours a day via automated system in Internet, integrated to Single interactive state services portal.

The resolution said that new rule will not be applied to registration of banks and credit bureaus, their branches and offices, as well as NGOs, which will be registered in line with the current legislation.

The Government recommended commercial banks, Uzbekistan Banking Association, organizations, providing electronic payment systems, to integrate system of online banking with existing electronic payment system, operating in Uzbekistan, and personal cabinet of users and businesses at the Single interactive state services portal.

Central Bank and Ministry of Developing information technologies and communications were ordered to help organizations, rendering electronic payment services, in realization of mechanism of settlements with online banking systems.

The Government also entrusted to introduce amendments to legislation, which will envisage abolishment of requirement to submit document and information, which do not meet modern requirements, etc.
