Raising responsibility of pet owners discussed in Tashkent
The event was held in Tashkent on 18 December and it was attended by MPs of Legislative Chamber and state bodies.
This is the first meeting of the members of the Society with the MPs of the Legislative Chamber within its five-year activity.
Temur Aripov, chairperson of the executive committee of the animal protection society Mehr va oqibat, said that it is important to unite efforts of all to build strong civil and humanitarian society. He said that it was pleasant to see members of the parliament, ministries and departments and others in the event.
Animal protection society Mehr va oqibat has been working for five years and protecting homeless animals, providing medical aid and shelters. It also holds meetings with people on human treatment of animals. The society also holds events within the programme of sterilization for low-income families.
At the meeting, the participants considered adoption of the legal documents on protection of animals and improving legal culture of population.
