Quartz to build a new line for the production of polished sheet glass

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- JSC Quartz attracted a loan of US$7 million to develop the production of sheet glass.

According to the company, JSCB Tenge Bank provided JSC Quartz a loan in the amount of US$7 million.

The funds will be used to build a new line for the production of polished flat glass. The capacity of the new line will be 400 tonnes of products per day.

Quartz, one of the leading enterprises in Central Asia, was established in 1975 to provide glass jars for canning factories in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region.

The main activity of Quartz is the production of glass jars, glass bottles and polished glass sheet, colored and tinted.
