Public Education Ministry and Klett discuss cooperation in the field of publishing textbooks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Alisher Umarov met with a delegation of the publishing company Klett (Germany) headed by its head of international law and publishing Anita Kolb.

During the meeting, the company representatives were familiarized with the reforms carried out in the field of public education. It was noted that the Ministry of Public Education has now begun the process of revising curricula and textbooks.

In particular, the ministry is considering the possibility of acquiring foreign textbooks in certain subjects that have proven themselves in other countries.

Representatives of the German publishing house provided information about their products, including textbooks. Anita Kolb handed over several copies of textbooks to the Ministry of Public Education for study.

The parties agreed to work on issue of cooperation between the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Klett publishing house in the field of publishing textbooks and books.
