Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 December, Director General of Uzbekistan Pochtasi A. Fayzullaev held a meeting with a delegation of the Post of Kazakhstan headed by the Chairman of the Board of Kazpost S. Sarsenov.

During the conversation, A. Fayzullaev noted that at present the postal service of Uzbekistan is taking effective measures to transform the production and management structures of the Post, introduce new services using information and communication technologies, and develop e-commerce and postal logistics.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Kazpost JSC S. Sarsenov said that Kazakhstan Post, in addition to traditional activities, is actively involved in the development of e-commerce in Kazakhstan and offered cooperation in organizing cross-border trade, improving logistics and developing financial services.

Fayzullaev said that the proposed projects are of interest to the postal service of Uzbekistan and expressed readiness for further fruitful cooperation.
