Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 May, an agreement was signed between the Samarkand Automobile Plant and SaryarkaAvtoProm to start production of SamAuto SAZ LE60 low-floor buses in Kazakhstan. The start of serial production will begin in June, reports the press service of UzAvto.

The Kazakhstani LLP SaryarkaAvtoProm in partnership with the JV SamAuto LLC starts the production of SamAuto SAZ E6L0 buses, adapted for the northern regions of Kazakhstan.

The signing of the corresponding general agreement on cooperation between the Samarkand Automobile Plant and SaryarkaAvtoProm took place in the capital of Kazakhstan on 26 May 2021.

“We highly appreciate the interest of our good neighbor to the SamAuto SAZ LE60 bus, designed in Uzbekistan. This bus has already been adapted to the climatic conditions of the southern regions of Kazakhstan, and now it has also been adapted to the harsh Kazakhstani North. I hope that the residents of Kazakhstan will be able to fully appreciate such its advantages as comfort, safety, durability,” comments the General Director of JV SamAuto LLC Ulmas Yuldashev.

The start of serial production will begin in June, and by the end of this year, 200 units of equipment will be produced. At the same time, it is planned to increase this number to 1000 units in 2022.

“We see the solution to the existing problem of the depreciation of the country's bus fleets in the production of affordable passenger vehicles. When choosing our products, we proceed from the technical characteristics - the ecological class Euro V is important, and the safety of passengers. All these requirements are fully met by the SAZ LE60 bus, so we are waiting for it on routes in Kazakhstan,” said Oksana Kholstinina, President of Allur Group.

The plant "SaryarkaAvtoProm" has the ability to complete the buses of the Samarkand Automobile Plant SAZ for individual requests of any region of Kazakhstan.

On 27 March, in the city of Turkestan (Kazakhstan) the transfer of the third batch of low-floor buses SamAuto SAZ LE60 took place. For all the years, the export of buses of the Samarkand Automobile Plant to Kazakhstan amounted to 920 units, of which 333 are the SAZ LE60 model.

Since 2021, the SamAuto SAZ LE60 low-floor bus has been produced in an updated version. The improved model received a certificate of compliance with the technical regulations of the EAEU Customs Union "On the safety of wheeled vehicles". The received certificate is valid on the territory of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan until 2024.

Also in March 2020, with the participation of Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, UzAuto Motors launched serial production of Chevrolet cars in Kostanay on the basis of SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP.
