Prices for electricity hikes in Uzbekistan from 15 May

According to Uzbekenergo, new prices for electricity were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekenergo said that the cost for 1 KWH electricity will grow from 144.3 soums to 155 soums. The growth rate makes up 7.41%.

The cost of for 1 KWH electricity at houses, equipped with electric ovens, will increase from 72.15 soums to 77.5 soums (+7.41%).

Last time, Uzbekistan increased prices for electricity on 1 October 2014.
