Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan hold telephone conversation
During the talks, the Presidents of two states considered current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Turkmen cooperation in key directions in context of realization of reached agreements between two states, priorities of social-economic development of two nations and plans for future.
At the same times, it was underlined that there are favourable opportunities for further expanding mutual beneficial partnership in trade-economic spheres as there is solid potential.
One of priority directions of cooperation is transport-communication sector. The sides noted that one of key areas of cooperation in this area is creation of transit-transport cooridors.
The Presidents of two nations also considered humanitarian cooperation and strengthening contacts in this sphere.
Leaders of two states also discussed actual regional and international issues of mutual interest, including ecological issues.
