Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kashkadarya region, a localization and cooperation pavilion of Uzbekneftegaz was opened in Karshi. The head of state visited the pavilion and got acquainted with the exhibits. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company "Uzbekneftegaz" Mehriddin Abdullayev informed the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev about the goals of organizing this pavilion and plans for its further improvement.

Today, more than 50% of the industry’s industrial production falls on the industrial facilities of Kashkadarya region. Therefore, the main goal is to purchase the necessary products and components for the industry directly from local producers in the region.

In this regard, in February this year in the city of Karshi for the first time the "Oil and Gas Cooperation Forum" was held. The forum was attended by more than 200 enterprises, as a result of which 175 contracts were signed for 117 billion soums. To date, payments have been made under 56 contracts worth 64 billion soums, the supply of goods and services has been completed.

The continuation of this event was the creation of a pavilion for localization and cooperation of Uzbekneftegaz in the Clinic for the rehabilitation and privatization of enterprises in the city of Karshi. This pavilion displays about 100 products mastered in the coming years by domestic producers and about 500 product samples offered for production.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, having familiarized himself with the pavilion, gave instructions to further expand the level of cooperation with local producers in the Uzbekneftegaz system, paying special attention to the systematization and digitalization of procurement processes.

Within the framework of the Localization Program for 2020, Uzbekneftegaz envisages the production of 15 types of products worth 1.2 trillion soums. In particular, pyrolysis gasoline, Euro-4.5 diesel fuel, bentonite powder, drip irrigation systems and so on. By expanding localization and cooperation, a reduction in imports by $ 247 million will be achieved.

In January-October of this year, products worth more than 600 billion soums were purchased through the Republican portal of cooperation, cooperation with 246 domestic manufacturers was established (48 of them are new enterprises). This year, on the basis of cooperation, the production of activated carbon (saving US$110,000), anti-corrosion inhibitors (US$800,000), gas pressure meters ($ 254 thousand), various pipelines, etc. was organized.
