President of Uzbekistan to Visit Samarkand Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the Samarkand region on 18 March for a working trip.

During the two-day visit, he will review ongoing development initiatives, including projects in industry, agriculture, tourism, and other sectors, as well as oversee the launch of several new facilities.

The program also includes a meeting focused on the key priorities of the region’s socio-economic development, during which current challenges and plans for their resolution will be discussed.
