President of Uzbekistan to pay visit to China
Uzbek leader will pay a state visit to China on 11-13 May 2017 on invitation of the President of China Xi Jinping, the President’s press service said in a statement.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold meetings and talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang and other leaders of the country during his visit to China.
During the meetings and negotiations, the sides will discuss the current state and prospectus of bilateral relations, priority areas for strengthening and progressive development of long-term partnership between Uzbekistan and China. The sides will also exchange views on the current regional and international issues.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also hold meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies and firms to discuss the opportunities for joint implementation of mutually beneficial projects in Uzbekistan with the involvement of modern technologies.
After the talks, Uzbekistan and China will sign a number of intergovernmental, interdepartmental and other documents aimed at deepening Uzbek-Chinese ties in various fields.
Business circles of Uzbekistan and China will also sign a large package of contracts and agreements of trade, economic, investment and financial nature.
On 14-15 May, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the international forum “One Belt, One Way” in Beijing.
