President of Uzbekistan sends condolences to President of Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in connection with the loss of lives as a result of an emergency landing of an airplane at the Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow.

The head of our state expressed sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The SSJ-100 aircraft of the Aeroflot airline that was heading to Murmansk, after a while requested an emergency landing. The plane gave a distress signal after departure and began to go on an emergency landing: the liner hit with the landing gear, then its nose on the runway and caught fire.

Passengers and crew were evacuated along the emergency ramp. As a result of the hard landing of the Superjet-100 aircraft, 13 people were killed, including two children.
