President of Uzbekistan receives Minister of Defense of China

Uzbek leader underlined intensification of contacts at various levels and expansion of productive interaction, which ensures high dynamics and consistent strengthening of relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two states.

During the meeting, the state and prospects of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation were reviewed, as well as current issues of strengthening regional security and stability were discussed.

Chang Wanquan highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing the potential of the Armed Forces and strengthening the defense capability of Uzbekistan, as well as emphasized the readiness of the Chinese side for further development of mutually beneficial partnership in this sphere.
