President of Uzbekistan creates service on protection rights of citizens

The decree was adopted to further improve activities of the office of the President of Uzbekistan in the field of protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens.

Uzbek leader reorganized the Service on control and coordinate works with appeals of individuals and legal entities of the Office of the President to the Service on protection of rights of citizens, control and coordination work with appeals of individuals and legal entities of the Office of the President.

President determined main tasks of new service. New service will ensure functioning of efficient system on work with appeals of individual and legal entities, directed at full protection of their rights, freedoms and interests.

The service will analyze state of protecting rights and freedom of the citizens by the state bodies and business entities, reveal problems and shortages in their activities.

It will make proposals on improving law-enforcement practice and legislation to eliminate reasons and conditions for systematic violation of rights and freedoms of the citizens.

The service will coordinate and help to activities of the People’s receptions and Virtual receptions.
