President of Uzbekistan appoints governors of four regions and Tashkent city

Uzbek leader appointed Sayfiddin Ismailov to the post of governor of Jizzakh region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov – governor of Andijan region and Erkinjon Turdimov – governor of Navoi region.

Oybek Ashurmatov was appointed of the governor of Syrdarya region. Rakhmanbek Usmanov was appointed to the post of Tashkent city.

All governors were elected at the session of the regional Councils of People’s Deputies of new convocation. All governors headed the corresponding regions and Tashkent city.
