President of Finland Alexander Stubb Arrives in Tashkent on Official Visit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Finland Alexander Stubb has arrived in Tashkent on an official visit at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Dunyо Agency reports.
At the international airport of the capital, the distinguished guest was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev and other representatives of official authorities.
During the visit, high-level talks are scheduled, during which the parties will discuss the expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, encompassing political, trade and economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Particular attention will be paid to increasing the volume of bilateral trade, developing cooperation in agriculture, environmental protection, the chemical and extractive industries, energy, digitalization, and other innovative sectors.
In addition, the negotiations will address issues of labor migration, the implementation of advanced technologies in education, cultural exchange, as well as pressing international topics, including mutual support on multilateral platforms.
