President inspects local boilers in Tashkent

Currently, a programme on construction of modern boilers in several districts of Tashkent and creation of the system on supply of hot water and heating to houses and social objects on the base of solar facilities is developed now.

Within the programme, it is planned to construct 211 local boilers in Tashkent city. About 133 of them will be located on the roofs of multi-storey houses and 77 in the territory of blocks. Loans for 170 billion soums of the banking loans will be issued to install them.

Uzbek leader familiarized himself with the boilers, which work in test mode in houses No 40 and No 42 in Aybek street. The boilers hit water from solar energy and deliver to apartments in necessary volume.

This will help to save natural gas and prevent losses of heating energy during winter period, as well as decreases expenses.

The boiler will generate 146 kilowatts of heating energy. The project with the cost of 460 million soums was financed by Toshissiqquvvati.

President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with samples of products of domestic enterprises for the production of solar power plants.

He gave instructions on the use of modern technologies and the attraction of highly qualified specialists to the construction and operation of boiler houses.
