Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A presentation on the topic “Discover Uzbekistan” was held at the German Engineering Union (Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau -VDMA), Dunyo reported.

The event, organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, was attended by German entrepreneurs - manufacturers of modern technologies and industrial equipment, coordinators of certain areas of the VDMA industry.

Its main topic was the active dissemination of information about Uzbekistan, the current development of the country and favorable conditions created for the activities of foreign entrepreneurs.

Consul General Erkin Hamraev briefed the participants in detail on the modern development of our republic, an active course in reforming the socio-political, trade, economic and judicial fields of Uzbekistan.

The participants in the presentation also received detailed information about the transit and transport and logistics potential of our republic, existing and proposed for joint implementation of infrastructure projects.

VDMA representative Monika Hollacher positively evaluated the economic processes in Uzbekistan and encouraged German entrepreneurs to participate more actively in them.

Then the participants were presented with “quiz questions” on the history and present of Uzbekistan.
