Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan informs that recalculation of fees for children in pre-school education will be carried out on the basis of the Regulation on the procedure for paying fees for the maintenance of children in preschool organizations and boarding schools No. 2821 from 23 August 2016, from which it follows that:

- the money received from the payment for the maintenance of the child in the early childhood care institution is sent to provide him with food (clause 2 of the Regulation);

- in the event that the child has not visited an orphanage for more than 3 consecutive days, the payment made for this period is taken into account when calculating subsequent payments for children staying in the orphanage (paragraph 13 of the Regulation);

- upon termination of a child’s visit to an orphanage, payment is made only for the days of his / her actual stay in the orphanage, and not for the whole month (clause 14 of the Regulation).

Based on these clauses of the Regulation, the following procedure has been established for the recalculation of fees for the maintenance of a child in pre-school education:

If the child finishes attending the pre-school education and goes to school, the funds paid for his maintenance in the pre-school education are returned in advance on the basis of a parent's application.

If the child continues to visit the pre-school institution in the 2020/2021 academic year, the funds paid for his maintenance in the pre-school institution are taken into account when paying for subsequent periods.
