Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An electronic version of the Polish journal “Polish Market” published articles on the efforts of Uzbekistan to provide social support to the population during the pandemic, Dunyo reports.
Journalist A.Kazimersky prepared materials with information support from the Uzbek diplomatic mission in Poland.
The materials provide information on measures taken in our country to support vulnerable segments of the population and to control the spread of Covid-19.
The author notes that within the framework of the “Kindness and Support” movement, initiated by the country's leadership, the state and business are uniting to ensure social protection of people in this difficult time.
It is emphasized that Uzbekistan, like many other countries of the world, is struggling with the economic and social consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic. Much attention is paid to ensuring the safe functioning of industrial enterprises, construction sites and the entire infrastructure of the country.
A Polish journalist writes that the pandemic made it possible to draw attention to the problems of providing local social services. According to him, a new approach to the issues of social protection of the population has appeared in Uzbekistan, which will firmly enter the future life of the country.
“The pandemic made it possible to demonstrate a healthy example of the unity of the Uzbek society. In various countries, including Poland, Uzbekistan is set as an example as a country where it was very rational and extremely responsible to protect the population from a pandemic,” the author of the publication said.
