Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Ambassador Amirsaid Agzamkhodzhaev held a working meeting with the leadership of the Polish company Hands Man Food — CEO Lukasz Koziel and technologist Dariusz Vasiluk, the Dunyо news agency reported.
The discussions focused on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, prospects for developing agricultural processing, and expanding the export potential of the country’s agro-industrial sector.
Lukasz Koziel highlighted opportunities to increase the supply of Uzbek products to European markets, emphasizing the need to improve logistics chains and ensure certain products meet European Union requirements and standards.
The Polish side expressed readiness to invest in processing facilities, as well as to implement projects in farming and horticulture in Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further explore the localization of certain processing stages, particularly in the cultivation of raspberries and cherries for subsequent processing and export in frozen form.
Plans also include exchanging experience on gradually implementing EU quality standards in production processes and establishing a stable production and logistics chain for fruit and vegetable exports to Europe, including Poland.
The Polish side expressed interest in organizing a business delegation visit to Uzbekistan in March 2026, led by Lukasz Koziel, for meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Namangan regional administration.
