Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 16 July, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held an emergency meeting of the special republican commission to combat coronavirus.
As a reminder, on 15 July, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the state of work to counter coronavirus in the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region and warned those in charge.
As a Kun.uz correspondent reports, now patients with coronavirus who are treated at home will receive medicines for free.
In addition, the relevant departments have approved a list of these drugs. The list includes "Hydroxychloroquine", "Azithromycin", "Paracetamol", "Vitamin C" and medical masks.
On the recommendation of doctors, the above medicines will also be prescribed to patients with a mild form of coronavirus (asymptomatic form) who test positive for coronavirus. There is only one condition - they must also undergo treatment at home.
The Ministry of Health has been instructed to create a stock of necessary medicines and protective equipment.
