Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 55-year-old resident of Yunusabad district was taken to Zangiata district multidisciplinary infectious diseases hospital on 12 July 2020 in critical condition from infectious diseases hospital No. 2. Due to the severity of his condition, the patient was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit and placed in a ventilator.

He was diagnosed with COVID-19 and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was characterized by acute respiratory failure. He also suffered from diabetes and chronic kidney failure.

During the treatment of the patient in the hospital, medical specialists were consulted, the treatment process was carried out on the recommendation of specialists.

However, despite standard resuscitation procedures performed by doctors, the patient’s condition deteriorated and he died of acute respiratory failure, chronic liver and kidney failure, and pulmonary heart failure.
