Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A patient, who had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus, died in Namangan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, on 20 April, the patient was hospitalized with a diagnosis of cardiovascular and respiratory failure. It has been tested for coronavirus infection. The test gave a positive result.

The man had a first degree disability and for 29 years was a bed patient. Since hospitalization he has been connected to a ventilator.

On 3 May, the patient died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.

It should be noted that 10 patients with coronavirus have died so far in Uzbekistan.
