Paper Production in Uzbekistan Exceeds 10 Trillion Soums in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan’s production of paper and paper products reached 10.2 trillion soums, marking a 10.5% increase compared to the previous year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Production growth was observed both at large industrial enterprises and across regional centers of the country.

Tashkent city remains the leader in output with 4.6 trillion soums, followed by Tashkent Region at 2.6 trillion soums.

Among other regions, the largest contributions came from the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 8.8 billion soums, Andijan Region — 730.1 billion soums, Samarkand Region — 640.5 billion soums, and Fergana Region — 617.6 billion soums.

Smaller production volumes were recorded in Surkhandarya Region (5.6 billion soums), Navoi Region (54.2 billion soums), and Kashkadarya Region (54.9 billion soums).
