Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the oil refineries of Uzbekneftegaz in January-October 2020, 1.55 million tonnes of hydrocarbons were processed.

As a result, 690,900 tonnes of gasoline, 532,800 tonnes of diesel fuel, 75,000 tonnes of jet fuel and 94,100 tonnes of fuel oil were produced.

The production capacity utilization rate is 70.7 percent (the plan was fulfilled 3.5 percent surplus).

In the first quarter of this year, Bukhara Oil Refinery LLC, as a result of replacing the catalyst of the gas oil hydrotreating unit with a modern type, established the production of diesel fuel of the ecological category Euro-4.5. From January to the end of October, 58.2 thousand tonnes of Euro-4.5 diesel fuel were produced. In addition, based on the needs of the republic’s consumers, 2.3 thousand tonnes of diesel fuel of the ecological category Euro-3 were produced in October.

In January-October of this year, consumers of the republic were supplied with 820,000 tonnes of gasoline and 616,000 tonnes of diesel fuel.

A number of effective measures are being taken to meet the needs of the republic’s consumers in oil products.

In particular, the coordination of work on the full production of oil products planned by the refineries was carried out, measures were taken to create reserves of oil products.

Reserves of 154,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and 73,000 tonnes of gasoline have been created locally.

Also, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 4, 2020 No. 4664, in order to ensure full satisfaction of the needs of consumers of the republic in petroleum products and ensure their uninterrupted supply, an internal procedure has been developed, the sale of petroleum products has been established through the Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
