Over 40,000 Italian Citizens Visited Uzbekistan for Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — About 40,800 Italian citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January–October 2025, representing an increase of 4,700 people, or 12.3%, compared to the same period of last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The majority of visitors, 38,600 people, came for tourism. Additionally, 1,200 arrived to visit relatives, 850 for business purposes, 86 for study, three for medical treatment, and two for commercial activities.

The growth in Italian tourists reflects Uzbekistan’s efforts to promote the country as an attractive international travel destination and to strengthen bilateral tourism relations.
