Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 April, in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, the Government Commission for the Development of Export and Investment under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and as part of the heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks went to Bukhara region to identify and solve the problems of entrepreneurs and exporters, as well as to study new proposals and initiatives for the development of entrepreneurship in the region.

Visits of the Commission members to specific enterprises and production facilities and targeted work with entrepreneurs were organized, aimed at studying the current state of production, opportunities for their expansion by mastering the production of new types of products with high added value that are in demand in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as identifying new reserves. to increase industrial production and create new jobs.

Also, as part of the Commission’s field work, an open dialogue was organized, in which more than 400 entrepreneurs and exporters of the region, as well as representatives of the media, took part.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to directly contact the leadership of the Commission and put forward for discussion the problems they face in the process of entrepreneurial and industrial activities. Each problem voiced was comprehensively considered with the involvement of the top officials of the relevant ministries and departments, as a result of which optimal solutions were developed in a targeted manner that satisfy the needs of entrepreneurs. During the event, the responsible leaders were instructed to promptly implement these decisions and establish direct contacts with entrepreneurs for further practical support.

It was noted that building a direct dialogue between the state and business in the current conditions is the most effective tool for the development of entrepreneurship, maximizing the use of the economic potential of the regions, using the existing "points of growth", as well as identifying and promptly solving existing problems.

As a result of the discussion, the responsible leaders were instructed to develop a program of practical measures with an indication of specific deadlines and mechanisms for their implementation. Control over the implementation of decisions of the Government Commission based on the results of work in the Bukhara region is entrusted to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
