Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the capital of Denmark, a meeting was held with compatriots working in the offices of international organizations, including the UN, World Bank, WHO, IOM, as well as leading companies in this country.

The event, which was attended by more than 20 people, was held in a warm and trusting atmosphere. The participants not only received clarifications on consular legal issues, but also shared personal problems with consular officers and discussed ways to solve them jointly.

The representative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium spoke about the activities of the consular department of the diplomatic mission aimed at protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek citizens, as well as various events organized by him.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation and conduct of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that the priority task of the consular department is to protect the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in connection with which the Embassy is ready to provide the necessary assistance to our compatriots in solving emerging problems. The meeting participants received answers to all their questions.

The compatriots noted the need for regular meetings, presentations, round tables and other events with their participation in order to openly exchange views and inform about the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan.

On 12 October, in the city of Aarhus (Denmark), a consular reception of citizens of Uzbekistan was held.
