NTRC launches new channel “Mahalla”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan launched new educational TV and radio channel “Mahalla” (Neighborhood). The new channel is broadcasting in digital format.

New channel was created in line with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On creation of educational television and radio channel Mahalla and measures on further expanding digital broadcasting” from 17 December 2014.

New channel will inform population on role and importance of mahalla institution in formation democratic state and civil society, solving social issues, etc.
