No Uzbek Nationals Injured in Recent Events in Iran — Embassy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — No citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were injured as a result of the recent events in Iran, according to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tehran.
The diplomatic mission reported that there are currently 81 Uzbek citizens in Iran. These include staff of diplomatic institutions, students studying in the city of Qom, permanent residents, and individuals who entered the country on private visits.
The embassy emphasized that it remains in constant contact with all compatriots in Iran and is closely monitoring developments. Diplomats continue to operate as usual and stand ready to provide the necessary consular assistance should the situation change.
