Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Today, 17 patients completely recovered from coronavirus infection in Namangan region, and 2 people in Samarkand region.

With the participation of senior officials of the regional health departments, they were transferred for rehabilitation.

All recovered are from in Namangan region (9 of them from the city of Namangan, 3 from Uchkurgan district, 2 from Naryn district, 1 each from Chust, Namangan and Uychinsky districts), they became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among them, 6 are men and 11 are women, the oldest of them 48 years old, and the youngest (two babies) - born in 2019. Thanks to effective treatment procedures, laboratory tests today have shown that they are all healthy. Until this day, 89 people were cured in the region, and now there are 106.

In Samarkand region, a 37-year-old woman from the city of Samarkand and a 37-year-old man from Taylak district recovered. They became infected as a result of contact with patients. To date, 22 patients have been treated in this region, and now their number has reached 24.

Currently, 1,347 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
