New rector of Samarkand State University said

In line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, Alimdjan Holmuhamedov was appointed as the rector of the Samarkand State University, the press service of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan said.

Prior to appointment, Alimdjan Holmuhamedov worked as an executive director of Tashkent branch of Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov.
